Leaders do not run the Cookie Sale. Leaders focus on building girls’ skills through Cookie Activity programs and related activities.

An adult Cookie Volunteer runs the sale and is in charge of tasks like:
• Going to cookie training
• Coordinating with parents
• Compiling cookie orders and turning them in on time
• Scheduling and coordinating volunteers for cookie booths
• Picking up cookies from the central distribution point
• Collecting money

Girls benefit most when the

leader delegates this portion of

the Cookie Activity to a competent

Cookie Volunteer. The leader is then

free to focus on motivating girls and

helping them to set and reach goals.
