The Cookie Activity is an important time to teach your girls about goal-setting – one of the most valuable skills they can acquire.

The team will set an overall goal, and each girl will set a personal goal.  Use the fun theme materials to walk girls through each step of goal-setting:

• Help girls brainstorm ideas for what they can do with cookie proceeds and choose a goal that’s S.M.A.R.T. – Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic and Timely.
• Help girls set personal goals so everyone knows what she must do to help achieve the team goal.
• Track your progress to help the team stay motivated.
• When you reach your goal, celebrate!

Girls can use this same process for

setting and reaching goals in other

areas of their lives.
